CREATING A CUSTOMIZED OASIS

At Madori Architects, we understand the importance of transforming a home and its spaces into a personal oasis of comfort and relaxation. This oasis serves as an escape from the hustle and bustle of our daily routines. In our projects, we not only address the architectural design of homes and their interiors but also the surrounding outdoor spaces that make our daily lives more pleasant and vibrant.

The design of a home’s outdoor spaces not only adds value to the property but also enhances our quality of life.

In this particular project, our clients aimed to breathe life, utility, and uniformity into the interstitial spaces surrounding their home. Their desire was to have a pool, a flexible terrace with a sun deck, and the capacity to host outdoor dining and relaxation, all without sacrificing the occasional placement of their vehicle within the property.

TRANSFORMATION OF OUTDOOR SPACES.

When approaching a project of this nature, we immerse ourselves in creating a green canvas tailored to the needs and desires of our clients.

The garden, being the heart of outdoor spaces, was carefully designed to provide life, utility, and uniformity. By integrating natural elements such as clay, we created a warm and fresh atmosphere inviting you to enjoy tranquility and serenity outdoors. We conceived a horizontal plane that extends across the garden, resting on it as if introducing an elevated scenic space. A plan that unifies everything and on which anything can happen. Subsequently, we blurred its boundaries, allowing vegetation to surround it, integrating nature into every corner. Within this large horizontal plane surrounded by all these elements, the water emerges, becoming a pool.

A SENSORIAL EXPERIENCE

We believe that water, as a material, can be fascinating, capable of generating unique emotions and sensations. All our senses awaken and activate, creating unique experiences. Water has an unparalleled ability to create a magical atmosphere, reflecting and fading images, especially when combined with other elements like light and vegetation. We are interested in its capacity to activate and stimulate the senses. Handcrafted clay pieces or the finish of concrete provided a soft and warm sensation with simple foot contact, but water goes further, synthesizing sound, sight, touch, smell, all in one material.

Once the key elements are arranged on the canvas, we allow the user to take over the scenic space, letting it transform on its own. This is the uniqueness and great beauty of natural materials; time, light, seasons, nature—all together create a continuously changing scenic space, and life unfolds around it like a grand celebration, where we are the guests.
